The Good, The Bad and The Ugly: Treating Periodontitis

This is a bottom line course with very specific information. What must the hygienist and the doctor know chair side every day to successfully treat periodontitis in patients? Which cases can you anticipate successful treatment and which ones are losers? Discussion will focus on specific protocols from curettes to toothbrushes, mouthrinses and toothpaste, and antibiotics to analgesics as well as medical disease and drugs. After the course, participants should be able to recognize and avoid the high risk failure cases, expand the scope of therapy in your office and expand the scope of therapy in your office.
